| Dr. Ming Xu |
|

Dr. Ming Xu has
served as the first Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) of FSP-Powerland since Nov. 2008. He founded Powerland in Hangzhou, in 1998. Under the
leadership of Dr. Ming Xu, Powerland aims at
transferring innovative energy-saving
technologies into profitable products in the
market. Dr. Ming Xu keeps Powerland focus on creating
long-term value ,and Powerland's solid financial
and technology performance.
Before named CEO of Powerland, Dr. Ming Xu has
held an associate professor position in Center
for Power Electronics System, Virginia Tech,
USA. At the academic position, he focused on
technology innovations in the fields of VRM,
PFC, and PV inverters. More than twenty-year
experience in the Power Electronics field, Dr.
Ming Xu became one of the world-famous Power
Electronics experts. Dr. Ming Xu is a senior
member of IEEE. Dr. Ming Xu has published more
than 130 transaction and conference papers, and
held 15 US patents and 7 China Patents, with
another 14 US patents pending. Also, he was the
invited lecturer for Intel Cooperate, USA.
Besides his business roles, Dr. Ming Xu is the
guest professor and PhD advisor of Nanjing
University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
(NUAA) and Xi'an Jiao Tong University (XJTU).
Dr. Ming Xu received Bachelor degree from NUAA
in 1991, Master and PhD degree from Zhejiang
University in 1994 and 1997, respectively.

| Dr. Julu Sun |

Dr. Julu Sun has been appointed CTO after his
graduation as a PhD student in Center for Power
Electronics Systems, Virginia Tech, USA. With
his profound knowledge and experience in High
Frequency Power Conversion, Low-voltage
High-current Power Conversion, and Control
Technology for Power Electronics Systems, Dr.
Julu Sun focuses on long- and short-term
technical strategies of Powerland. Dr. Julu Sun
is currently taking the responsibility as
deputy director of Generation Product Center as
well, investigating product development of FSP-Powerland .
Before studying in USA, he was R&D engineer
with Lite-On for two and half years. His
invention on general transducer took large
market share in the industry.
Dr. Julu Sun got his Bachelor degree from
Zhejiang University, his Master degree from
Tsinghua University, and his PhD degree from
Virginia Tech, USA. |

Dr. Yang Qiu has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FSP-Powerland since November 2009. As COO, Dr. Qiu is responsible for FSP-PowerlandĄŻs efficient and effective day-to-day operations and organizations, and quality control of products and services.
Dr. Yang Qiu also serves as the director of Generation Marketing Center (GMC). As the GMC director, he is responsible for marketing strategy and planning.
Dr. Qiu has 12 years experience in the Power Management Industry, knowing well about both technology and management. Before joining FSP-Powerland, Dr. Qiu was with Analog Device Inc. (ADI), USA as a senior application engineer with the power management product department.
Dr. Qiu received his Bachelor and Master degree from Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Then Dr. Qiu went to pursuit his PhD degree at Center for Power Electronics Systems in Virginia Tech, USA, and received the degree in 2005. Dr. Qiu has held two US patents, and published more than 25 publications in international academic journals and conferences, and 5 articles on international technical/marketing magazines.

(Charlie) Wang |

Dr. Chuanyun Wang joined FSP-Powerland in Aug. 2009 as the deputy director of Generation Technology Center (GTC), and has been promoted as director of GTC and special assistant to CEO since Oct. 2009. As the director of GTC, Dr. Chuanyun Wang is responsible for developing innovative technologies and enriching key knowledge for other business units of FSP-Powerland. Being special assistant to CEO, Dr. Chuanyun Wang has the responsibility to identify technical challenge, assisting CEO to make strategic decisions.
Before joining FSP-Powerland, Dr. Chuanyuan Wang has more than 12 years experience in Power Electronics field, including his systematical study in Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) of Virginia Tech, USA. Dr. Chuanyun Wang was the principle member for many projects: high-voltage, high-power, high-density dc-dc converter with US ARMY Research Lab (ARL); modeling of three-phase inverter used in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Power System with NASA Glenn Research Center; high-density, digital-control power supply (PFC+dc-dc) with 3Y Power Technology, USA. Dr. Chuanyun Wang joined the study on the Power Control Unit (PCU) development for Toyota Hybrid Vehicles (Prius, Lexus) from 2007 to 2009. In the group he is the leader to develop a 10 kW converter with Integrated Power Module (IPM). Dr. Chuanyun Wang was a team member of Power Management Consortium (PMC) of CPES, whose major goal is to provide cutting-edge power management solutions for server applications. In this research group, Dr. Chuanyun Wang was focused on exploring the multi-channel interleaved PFC. The phase angle control theory is first proposed and enriched by Dr. Chuanyun Wang.
Dr. Chuanyun Wang received his Bachelor and Master degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA, in Aug 2009.

Dr. Juanjuan Sun has been appointed as the director of Generation Software Center (GSC) since Oct. 2009. As GSC director, Dr. Juanjuan Sun is responsible for designing and organizing power electronics short courses and workshops to the power supply industry, developing power supply design software, providing contract design and IP consulting services to IC companies and other potential partners, etc..
Before joining FSP-Powerland, Dr. Juanjuan Sun was a senior application engineer in Linear Technology Corporation, Milpitas CA, USA. Besides her ten-year experience in power electronics, Dr. Juanjuan Sun gained proficiency in software definition and development for the power management industry during her stay with Linear Technology. She developed and supported hardware and software products that made over ten million US$ annual revenue. Dr. Juanjuan Sun also has expertise in education/seminars in the power management filed.
Dr. Juanjuan Sun received her Bachelor and Master degrees from Tsinghua University in 1999 and 2001, respectively. In 2007, Dr. Juanjuan Sun received her PhD degree from Virginia Tech. Dr. Juanjuan Sun has published more than 20 journal, conference papers, and magazine articles.

Dr. Qiaoliang Chen has been the director of FSP-Powerland XiĄŻan Research Center since May, 2008. Dr. Qiaoliang Chen is responsible for conducting research projects, day-to-day administration of XiĄŻan Research Center. He is also the special assistant to CEO. Dr. Chen is experienced in High-density high-efficiency power supplies and power integration technologies.
Before joining FSP-Powerland, Dr. Qiaoliang Chen has been the deputy director of FSP Group XiĄŻan Research Center since 2007. Under his leadership, He and his team have filed 5 Chinese patents for high efficiency, long life time power conversion.
Dr. Qiaoliang Chen is also active to join various academic activities in the power electronic field. Dr. Chen has published more than 20 journal and conference papers, and was the co-auther of Ą°Chinese Electrical Engineering DictionaryĄ± (to be published). In 2006, Dr. Chen has served as Chairman of the IEEE PELS XiĄŻan Jiaotong University Chapter.
Dr. Qiaoliang Chen received his Bachelor, Master, and PhD degree from XiĄŻan Jiaotong University in 2001, 2004, and 2008, respectively. From May to October 2009, he was a visiting scholar at Center for Power Electronics Systems, Virginia Tech, USA.
